The long wait for more Avengers: Endgame footage is about to come to an end, as it was recently confirmed that we’ll see a new TV spot on Sunday, February 3rd during Super Bowl LIII. The inclusion of a promo during Super Bowl Sunday has been rumored for a very long time, but it’s almost here now and while the first trailer was pretty sombre and low-key, the nature of Super Bowl ads means that Marvel Studios will probably be looking to dazzle audiences with some of the more impressive sequences from the film.
As such, this next preview should give us a much better idea of what Endgame‘s going to be about. However, don’t expect it to spoil too much. After all, Kevin Feige and co. have so far refused to reveal anything significant about the upcoming sequel, though various leaks from the merchandising end of the industry have certainly brought us a lot to feast on in these last few weeks, even if there’s some debate to be had regarding how genuine everything we’ve been seeing is.
Nevertheless, the trend continues today with yet another LEGO leak, and this time, it’s a juicy one. As you can see in the gallery below, we’ve got a photo of a set that’s titled “End Battle in New York.” Clearly, if this set’s legit – and it seems that it is – it looks like the gang will be heading back to NYC once again for what looks to be an epic finale that might just top what we saw in The Avengers.
As you can see above, we have Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Thor here fighting against Thanos and some type of flying creatures. The fact that the other heroes are missing though have led some to theorize that perhaps this scene isn’t from the end of the film and instead, takes place at an earlier point, when the aforementioned characters travel back in time to 2012’s Battle of New York.
Whatever the case, it at least looks like we’ve got a rather thrilling fight to look forward to, and we also now know for sure that Strange and Spidey will indeed return from the dead. Though it’s not like we ever doubted they would, right?
In any case, with a new Avengers: Endgame TV spot set to debut in just a few days, we’ll hopefully get some more answers sooner rather than later.
