Lionsgate Summons Glorious Second Trailer For Hellboy

What’s big, demonic, and red all over? The new Hellboy trailer, of course! Which has emerged from the fiery depths of the underworld baying for blood.

Front and center as Big Red is David Harbour, star of the Netflix phenom Stranger Things, who’s clearly traded the Upside Down for the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense – or BPRD, for short.

From the moment Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment announced this R-rated retelling of the Hellboy saga, we all knew that Harbour faced an uphill challenge if he was to really fill the boots left vacant by Ron Perlman, but at least based on tonight’s scintillating new promo, it won’t take long to silence the naysayers – mostly because this teaser trailer heralds a vast improvement over the first in that it has the look and feel of a Hellboy movie, all the while bringing something a little new to the table.

And that’s exactly what Neil Marshall has achieved here with the second (and presumably final?) Hellboy trailer. This is likely the last major content drop before April 12th, as the Powers That Be will no doubt spend the next six weeks releasing short snippets and brief clips from the R-rated bonanza.

It currently faces the daunting task of opening under the shadow of Avengers: Endgame, though we’re quietly confident that Hellboy will still be able to carve out an audience of its own when all is said and done.

Once scheduled for a mid-January release, Hellboy is now expected to see the warm light of day on Friday, April 12th. It’ll grace select IMAX theaters, too, just in case you’re wanting to go up close and personal with Big Red, humanity’s unlikely savior.

Avengers: Endgame LEGO Leak Reveals New Look At [SPOILERS] Return

Avengers: Endgame LEGO Leak Reveals New Look At [SPOILERS] Return

Earlier this month, an Avengers: Endgame LEGO leak hit the web and teased such potentially revealing toys as a new Quinjet and a giant, Hulkbuster-style suit for War Machine. But if you looked a little closer, you probably would’ve noticed another significant detail in the villains that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes were squaring off against.

Yes, as you’ve surely heard by now, the images seemingly confirmed the legitimacy of an older leak which showed the LEGO design for the Chitauri. Though these extra-terrestrial figures have appeared a few times across the MCU, by far their biggest moment in the spotlight was 2012’s The Avengers, in which they fought the titular heroes in the Battle of New York.

And while there’s no guarantee that the creatures will make it Avengers: Endgame, we now have yet another LEGO set which depicts them fighting our heroes. Seen in the gallery below is a battle involving the Chitauri and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye-slash-Ronin (Jeremy Renner) and Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper). There’s not much else we can take from the pic, but at this point, we’d say it’s highly likely we’ll be seeing the aforementioned villains in the Infinity War sequel.

In fact, they’ll likely show up when our heroes travel back to the past and specifically, the Battle of New York. We’ve yet to find out what the significance of Endgame’s New York scenes will be, but it’s widely believed that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will be traveling back in time to somehow prevent Thanos’ Snap of Doom from happening, which wiped out half of all life from the universe.

As for how exactly this journey into the past might happen, that’s also a bit unclear, but we’ve no doubt the fans will continue to spin their theories until all is revealed when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.

Katherine Takes On 10 Mr. Xs In Epic Resident Evil 2 Mod

Katherine Takes On 10 Mr. Xs In Epic Resident Evil 2 Mod

By now, we certainly hope you’ve had the opportunity to spend ample time with the recently released Resident Evil 2 remake. Though it doesn’t quite top the 1998 original – at least, in our view – it’s still a fantastic entry into the long-running survival horror series and we simply can’t get enough of it.

Whether or not you’ve been able to partake in the fun, you’ve probably still seen the dreadful Mr. X showing up in videos on your social media feed. To date, the sharply dressed Tyrant has confounded players and likely scared the crap out of many. But imagine you were forced to face not one, not two, not even three, but ten of him at once.

That’s what this new mod puts forth, as we see Katherine, from The Ghost Survivors DLC, taking on a whopping 10 Mr. Xs. It comes to us from YouTube user BeastGamingHD, who’s turned all of the female zombies and lickers into the iconic villain, and quite frankly, it’s pretty fun to watch.

According to the YouTuber, here’s the thinking behind the mod:

“I did a Ghost Survivors Runaways mode speedrun but with female zombies and lickers replaced by Mr.X. I would have done all zombies but unfortunately that’s not an option as the game mode requires male zombies as they drop a key from their backpack. Additionally, there’s far more female zombies in this mode anyway, especially near the end.”

At the moment, we can only imagine what kind of other insane mods await Resident Evil 2 in the months to come. There are obvious things such as having Leon and Claire looking like their counterparts in RE 4, RE 6, CODE: Veronica and Revelations 2. But on the other hand, folks have been thinking up some pretty crazy and outside the box ideas, so who knows what’ll surface?

If one thing’s for certain, though, it’s that it’s great to see people having so much fun with the game and with any luck, Capcom will bring us that much requested Resident Evil 3 remake next.
