Netflix may have altered its metrics slightly and allowed several forgotten movies to creep back onto the all-time Top 10 list, but Red Notice couldn’t be dislodged as the platform’s number one most-watched original feature of all-time.
In terms of both cumulative hours and total view count, the A-list blockbuster is at the head of the pack, so it was inevitable that a franchise would be born. That being said, it’s been a while since reports emerged offering that the streaming service was planning on shooting the second and third installments back-to-back, but it sounds as though momentum is being gathered nonetheless.
