The question of how Marvel is going to solve a problem like Jonathan Majors is still very much hanging over the MCU, but in the wake of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hitting Disney Plus this week, it’s being alleged that an entirely different key player from the much-blasted threequel may have parted ways with the MCU. The Quantumania curse continues as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty might not end up sharing as much DNA with the Paul Rudd vehicle as expected. While Majors is still, as far as we know, due to play the eponymous Conqueror in the fifth Avengers flick, reports say that screenwriter Jeff Loveness has quietly parted ways with Marvel Studios, leaving someone else to step in and revamp the script once the writers’ strike concludes. A Rick and Morty vet, like Loki‘s Michael Waldron, Loveness made his MCU debut with Quantumania and appeared set to be one of the most influential creatives of the Multiverse Saga.
