Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania brought Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K to life, though it has given the character a slightly different origin story than in the comics. Before we could even see it in theatres we already knew from the trailers that the character would actually be Darren Cross from the first Ant-Man film, and it would appear that being forced to shrink down after his suit was destroyed had some slightly adverse effects on his form.
M.O.D.O.K is one of Marvel’s dafter-looking creations, a character that is essentially all head with T-Rex proportioned arms and similarly sized legs as well. Once fans became aware that the villainous character would be making an appearance in Quantumania talk quickly turned to how true to the original design the film would be, and though there are often changes made from comic to film, it would appear that M.O.D.O.K has stayed fairly true to his original design in some ways and less so in others.
