The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal Is Hoping To Appear In Other Star Wars Shows

The overwhelmingly successful debut of Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian has opened the way for many Star Wars projects for the foreseeable future. AhsokaStar Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Rangers of the New Republic are but a few of the stories that Lucasfilm is planning to develop.

Though despite the pressure of carrying an acclaimed franchise on your back, it seems that the actor behind the show’s faceless protagonist is willing to take on more of the world of the galaxy far, far away. As you know, Pedro Pascal has also starred in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984, written and directed once again by Patty Jenkins. Now, less than two weeks away from the premiere of the long-awaited sequel, the Chilean-American thespian is appearing in the media to promote the highly anticipated film, wherein he plays the main antagonist, Maxwell Lord.

Incidentally, Jenkins has also been attached to a future Star Wars film, currently titled Rogue Squadron and set for release in 2023. We still don’t know anything about the plot, though according to the director, it’ll be something original as opposed to an adaptation of the video game series with the same name. But it seems that Pascal wouldn’t mind playing a part in that film, as well, saying in a recent interview:

“She told me something was coming and she didn’t tell me what. How dare she not tell me?”

We wouldn’t blame the Game of Thrones alum if he was angry at Jenkins for not spilling the beans. He is the Mandalorian, after all. The actor further said that he’d be more than glad to appear in other Star Wars shows, explaining:

“Man, fingers crossed. How could you not? This is like, this is something that’s so much bigger than all of us, and we’re all a passenger to it in a great way. And so, I find out, as it is decided and shared.”

Would you be interested in seeing the bounty hunter Din Djarin appear in other projects besides The Mandalorian, say, the upcoming Ahsoka series? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place below.
