Despite devout True Believers and casual moviegoers going into Avengers: Endgame knowing full well that the flick clocks in at three hours in length, everybody seems to be quite fearless when it comes to holding their potty for the allotted time. Still, none of us can help that poking at the back of our minds, as I’m pretty sure that not a single one among us wants to miss out on a second of the action by having to get up and pee or, Thanos forbid, poop.
Believe it or not, mercy has been shown on fans attending showings overseas. To be more specific, international theaters are inserting an intermission at the halfway point, thus allowing for folks to relieve themselves. Having no doubt felt five pounds lighter, they’re ready to see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes engage in their final showdown with the Mad Titan himself.
Though we can’t be sure of every country participating in this practice, it has been made known that cinemas in Egypt and Italy have been included at the very least. Those of us venturing out this weekend residing in the United States, however, won’t be so lucky.

If there’s to be any assurance, it’s that you can make a run for the restroom once the credits begin rolling because we’ve been given several reminders of there being no post-credits scene. I don’t know about you, but I’m still sticking around to the bitter end, force of habit and all.
Before we know it, the next few months will have passed and we’ll be able to bring home the adventure on Blu-ray, DVD, or whatever may be your format of choice. And when that happens, you’ll be free to pause at your leisure and do what’s necessary.
Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters this Friday, April 26th.
