Avengers: Endgame Confirmed To Have No Post-Credits Scenes

Last night, Avengers: Endgame had its world premiere in Los Angeles, which was quickly followed by a flood of enthusiastic and spoiler-free social media responses.

While the film’s earliest viewers have so far been pretty good about not sharing key details, one part that they couldn’t discuss even if they tried is what happens after the credits start rolling. That’s because according to those who were at the event, the credits were cut off for a cast speech, leaving us to speculate on whether or not the film even has any last-minute bonus scenes.

According to popular leaker Daniel Richtman, however, the premiere audience wasn’t shown any post-credits scenes for one simple reason: there aren’t any. Richtman claims to have heard this news from multiple sources, and we’ve since confirmed it as well with sources of our own. That being said, with the Endgame screenings in China starting right about now, it shouldn’t be long before other people come forward to confirm or deny the report.

Either way, plenty of fans will no doubt be staying in their seats until the end of the movie to check for themselves. Incidentally, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has said before that the “real bonus” of the post-credits scenes is the way in which they persuade audiences to stick around and look at the names of the many people who labor over each new film. If so, then perhaps it’s only fitting that the credits themselves might be the only bonus that viewers get this time.

But whether or not Avengers: Endgame offers any final teases for the future, we’ll find out how it brings the current era to a close when the movie hits theaters on April 26th.
