After making one rookie mistake after another in recent episodes of The Flash, I’d say that Nora West-Allen is certainly due for some redemption. Whether she gets that next week in “Cause and XS” remains to be seen, but fingers remain crossed because I do rather enjoy her being around.
So far, all we’ve really learned about said adventure from its official synopsis is that Nora herself will feature prominently, and that her mother, Iris, will yet again find herself in great danger. Naturally, this caused fans to react with “again?!” on social media, but that’s just what happens when confronting supervillains becomes a hobby.
Speaking of which, Iris’ predicament is teased in a freshly released batch of photos promoting next week’s outing. Seen below, they also reveal how XS and Killer Frost will fight side by side. It should be intriguing to see if the latter hands Cicada his ass yet again, only for the writers to have him narrowly escape so that this ongoing war be stretched out until May.
Though the A-plot we’ve been discussing dominates the slideshow, a couple of images show Cisco finally taking his new love interest, Kamilla, out on a date. Judging by what’s presented here, he sure does look like a good listener. Hopefully Mr. Ramon bounces back well enough after losing Gypsy because he’s gone through a heck of a lot this season.
