While we’re still waiting for that first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer to come our way, it at least looks like the promotional floodgates for the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel are starting to open, with Peter Parker making the cover of a new Kellogg’s box.
As you can see, the design shows the wall-crawler in a red-and-blue outfit alongside the Far From Home logo, and while it’s hardly the most thrilling or informative of material to behold, we can at least hope that this box heralds the arrival of bigger and better things in the film’s marketing campaign.

All the same, it’s strange to think that we’re here staring at a Kellogg’s box while the attendees of CCXP in Brazil got to see a full trailer almost a month ago. Once it was apparent that the teaser would be a treat reserved exclusively for the fans at Comic Con Experience, a series of rumors and reports started making the rounds suggesting various December dates on which a teaser might go online. Nonetheless, 2018 came to a close without so much as a peep from Sony on when the general public might get to see some footage.
That being said, this last month has still seen its share of noteworthy reports and revelations on Spidey’s next standalone outing. At CCXP, for instance, it was revealed that Peter would be teaming up with Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio to fight Elementals across Europe. And speaking of villains, thanks to various merchandizing leaks, the rumors on Molten Man and Hydro-Man entering the fray have really started to build momentum. We’ll find out if there’s any truth to the hearsay when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5th, 2019.
