Fans are kicking up a fuss because they still haven’t seen the first trailer for a 2019 Marvel flick, and yes, this does all feel eerily familiar, doesn’t it?
The world has just witnessed one of the biggest weeks ever for MCU promotion, starting off with the new Captain Marvel trailer last Monday, followed by the long-awaited Avengers: Endgame teaser on the Friday. But while fans were relieved to finally see some footage from the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, little did they know that fresh disappointment was just around the corner, as the news broke on Saturday that contrary to previous reports, the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer wouldn’t be making its way online that day.
Instead, the teaser for next year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel was a treat reserved for the attendees of Brazil’s Comic Con Experience, and though the fans at CCXP seem happy with what they saw, it’s clear that a few users on Twitter were feeling a little left out:

For what it’s worth, the rest of us likely don’t have long to wait before at least one Far From Home trailer is released online, but in the meantime, the film’s panel at CCXP has given us some intriguing information to ponder.
In particular, Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal surprised us with the revelation that their characters Peter Parker and Mysterio will be working together in the movie to fight some Elementals. Seeing how the pair aren’t usually on the friendliest of terms in the comics, you probably shouldn’t expect this alliance to last the course of the movie, but until their inevitable breakup, this unlikely duo could make for a dazzling combination.
In any case, we’ll see how things play out when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5th, 2019.
