New Glass Character Posters Spotlight The Beast, The Mastermind And The Overseer

Glassthe sequel 18 years in the making, finally arrives this coming January and sees the return of Bruce Willis as superheroic David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson as his nemesis Elijah “Mr. Glass” Price from 2000’s Unbreakable. Not only that, but it’ll pair them up with James McAvoy’s Kevin Wendell Crumb, the psychopathic kidnapper from 2017’s Split. Can director M. Night Shyamalan knock it out the park though with his own unique take on the superhero crossover movie?

We sure hope so, and every piece of the marketing for Glass is getting us more and more hyped for it. For instance, we now have these three new international posters, one for each of the central trio of characters: previous promotional material has referred to them as The Overseer (Dunn), The Mastermind (Price) and The Beast (Crumb).

As you can see below, these one-sheets feature Willis, Jackson and McAvoy staring at us through a shattered pane of glass, the ragged shards no doubt representing the fact that they’re all fractured people. We know Glass will find the three of them in a psychiatric hospital, being analyzed by Sarah Paulson’s doctor. She specializes in those with delusions of superpowers, but she’s about to find out that these guys aren’t so delusional.

Split‘s Anya Taylor-Joy also reprises her role as Casey Cooke here, the kidnapped girl who escaped Crumb. Two more stars of Unbreakable likewise feature – Spencer Treat Clark as Dunn’s son and Charlayne Woodard as Price’s mother. The returning cast members make it clear that Glass will follow on the tone of Unbreakable and Split rather than go full-on superhero action and Shyamalan has even said as much, stating that he attempted to keep things grounded and real as much as possible.

Glass makes its way into theaters on January 18th and we can’t wait to find out what’s in store for us.
