For a moment, I thought tonight’s episode of Arrow marked a change in status quo. After all, Felicity Smoak and friends finally succeeded in apprehending Ricardo Diaz and placing him behind bars. Then again, it was only the sixth episode of the season, and we still have one long road ahead of us.
Still, it’s highly recommended that you tune in next week because “The Slabside Redemption” looks to be wall-to-wall action. Our primary piece of evidence comes by way of the first promo video, which you can view at the top of this article. And in it, we see “The Dragon” taking control of Slabside and turning everyone inside loose on Oliver Queen.
To be honest, this is probably when Ollie will escape because all signs point toward him doing so and, don’t forget, he does have that big “Elseworlds” crossover to participate in three weeks from now. Hey, if you’re planning your first meeting with Batwoman, then you’d better dress for the occasion.
One thing I couldn’t help noticing in the trailer was that of Oliver swinging a sack of some sort. Based on that, I’d say Stephen Amell’s promise of an all-male pillow fight came through, albeit with a violent twist. Much as I suspected, said pillowcase is probably loaded with heavy objects.
