Stephen Amell Showers Us With New Arrow Season 7 Teaser Image

If I didn’t know better, I’d say the cast and crew of Arrow were engaging in a pornographic game of Mad Libs over the summer, because some of the latest teasers for season 7 have had to do with a nude prison shower brawl and an all-male pillow fight. Seriously, I’m not making up any of this.

All that aside, it’s a solid bet we’ll soon be witness to one of the darkest and most brutal years this series has yet to offer. After all, when someone like Oliver Queen gets sent to a Supermax prison, you’d have to be a fool to think his stay will be equivalent to that of a day camp.

Of course, lead actor Stephen Amell has had his share of fun hyping what’s to come by releasing the teasers discussed above, not to mention others that may be hinting at the next crossover. Either way, the man always means business at the end of the day, this time Tweeting out a two week heads up that can be seen below.

If anything, this image reminds us of the five years Ollie spent in “Hell,” along with the six that followed which saw him protecting Star City as the Green Arrow. Hey, if non-powered superheroes were to really exist, there’s no way they’d get by unscathed.

For more on the premiere itself, be sure to check out this synopsis:

LOCKED UP — Following Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) shocking decision to turn himself over to the FBI and reveal his identity as the Green Arrow to the public, Oliver has spent the past five months in Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Determined to keep a low profile to shorten his sentence for the sake of his family, Oliver is tested when he runs into old foes. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) have taken on new jobs and left their costumes behind but not everyone is following suit. With her focus on William (guest star Jack Moore), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) tries to start over but when someone from her past resurfaces, things become complicated. James Bamford directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Oscar Balderrama (701).

Arrow returns for its seventh season on Monday, October 15 on The CW.
